To use Icarus in Gemini CLI, add it with an Icarus key from Settings. Then ask for photos, videos or ads in plain words. It's Gemini CLI image generation that uses your saved products and characters.

## How do I connect Icarus to Gemini CLI?

Run one command with your key, then ask for photos and videos while you build.

1. Run the command in your terminal.
2. Type /mcp inside Gemini CLI to see Icarus connected.

It goes into the setup command. Afterwards, type /mcp to check that Icarus is connected.

Yes. A workspace admin creates one in Settings. It's only shown once, so copy it straight away.

No. Connecting is free. You only spend credits when Icarus makes or edits something, and a shot that fails is refunded.

Everything is saved in Generations in Icarus, and Gemini CLI gets a link to each result.

A key only works in one workspace. Delete it in Settings and it stops working straight away.
