The published size, shape and file limits for each ad placement, and a check of which ones an image fits.

## Placements

- **Facebook feed** -- 4:5, recommended 1440 x 1800 px, minimum 600 x 750 px, up to 30MB, JPG or PNG. Meta allows 3% either side of 4:5. Source: Meta Ads Guide: image ad on Facebook feed (https://www.facebook.com/business/ads-guide/update/image/facebook-feed), checked 19 September 2026.
- **Instagram feed** -- 4:5, recommended 1440 x 1800 px, minimum no published minimum, up to 30MB, JPG or PNG. 4:5 is what Meta recommends. Anything from 4:5 to 1.91:1 is supported, so a square 1:1 image also runs. - **Instagram Stories** -- 9:16, recommended 1440 x 2560 px, minimum no published minimum, up to 30MB, JPG or PNG. Keep text and logos out of the top 14%, the bottom 35% and 6% down each side. - **Instagram Reels** -- 9:16, recommended 1440 x 2560 px, minimum no published minimum, up to 30MB, JPG or PNG. Keep text and logos out of the top 14%, the bottom 35% and 6% down each side. - **Google Shopping** -- any shape, recommended 1500 x 1500 px or above, minimum 500 x 500 px, up to 16MB, JPEG, WebP, PNG, GIF, BMP or TIFF. Any shape. 500 x 500 px is the minimum for every product from 31 January 2027. Up to 64 megapixels. Solid white or see-through background. No watermarks, promotional text or borders. - **Pinterest** -- 2:3, recommended 1000 x 1500 px, minimum no published minimum, up to 20MB, PNG or JPEG. Pinterest recommends 2:3. It does not publish a minimum pixel size for a standard image Pin.
