Shopify product photos: 2048 x 2048 pixels. Shopify's own recommended size for square photos. Drop a photo and get it back at that size on pure white, under 20 MB. It runs in your browser, so your photo never leaves your computer.
What you get for Shopify
Your whole photo is kept. Nothing is cropped, so white shows on the two short edges when the photo is not already square.

One Shopify help page gives the upload limit as 20 megapixels; the product media page says 25. This checker uses 5000 px a side.
