# Edit a photo by describing the change

Change any photo by saying what to change: the background, a colour, the light. Edit a shot you made in Icarus or upload a photo of your own.

Want the jacket in denim or the scene at sunset? Open any photo, write the change in one sentence, and Icarus makes the edit.

## What you get

- **One sentence, one change.** Write what you want changed, like "make the background a sunset beach".
- **Your photos or ours.** Edit a shot you made in Icarus, or upload a photo from your phone.
- **Bigger and sharper after.** When it looks right, make it bigger and sharper, up to 4K.

## How it works

1. Open a shot you made, or upload a photo.
2. Press Edit and write the change in plain words.
3. Generate and keep the version you like.

## Questions

### Can I edit a photo I did not make in Icarus?

Yes. Upload it, then write the change you want.

### What can I change?

Anything you can describe: the background, a colour, the light, an object in the scene.

### Can I make the edited photo bigger?

Yes. Upscale it to 4K from the same screen, or on the Upscale page.

### How much does it cost?

You see each shot's price before you make it. Pick a monthly plan or top up and pay as you go; every price is on the pricing page.

## Keep exploring

- [Your exact product, in every shot](https://withicarus.com/features/exact-product): Product pinning keeps your real product in every AI photo: the colour, logo and stitching you made, shot after shot, from one clear photo.
- [The same face in every photo](https://withicarus.com/features/same-face): Face locking keeps one model's face across every AI photo: new scenes, poses, outfits and lighting, one consistent person.
- [Turn your photos into video](https://withicarus.com/features/photo-to-video): Turn any product or model photo you make in Icarus into a short video in one step, for reels, ads and product pages. Or start from a description.
- [Ads and posters with your words](https://withicarus.com/features/ad-creatives): Make ad creatives, posters and sale banners with your product and the words you want in the frame, then turn the best one into a short video ad.
